Leslie James
Leslie James is a graduate from the Lowry Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University. She married fellow aggie, Ryan James, and together they have three boys, Reed, Ross, and Tyler. Upon graduating from college, Leslie worked several years in Human Resources before gaining an overwhelming passion for advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to women and young ladies around the world. To pursue her calling, Leslie started Alter Ministries. Over the last several years, the Lord has opened many doors and provided Leslie with countless opportunities to share His word. When she’s not writing or teaching bible studies, she spends her time counseling and encouraging women of all ages. Her ultimate goal is to inspire women to dream big, run hard after their destiny, and live the full and abundant life Jesus died to give each one of us.
As part of her ministry, Leslie has written many Bible Studies: "The Women of the Bible," "Freed to Love," “Different,” “The Parables,” and many line by line studies of various books in the Bible. She serves as Ladies Minister at Grace Fellowship Ministries. She has ministered in Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and with her home church in El Salvador.
Additionally, she co-owns Alter Studio, a Christian-based center for dance, gymnastics, tumbling and cheer. Alter Studio serves 100’s of young lives each week with the purpose of pouring into the next generation. She believes there’s nothing better than Jesus because He has the power to alter hearts and change lives forever.
